Elections NOW OPEN: IHSA Board of Director/Region V Rep/Component VP/Component Sec
The election process is now open and will close on March 3rd, 2020.. This process will go as follows:
1. Electronic Applications will be accepted for the following positions from each Component (Director, Parent, Staff and Friend):
- Region V Representative – serves on the IHSA Board and the Region V Board (one from each Component)
- Component Vice President – does not serve on the Board
- Component Secretary – does not serve on the Board
2. Interested applicants will complete the Electronic Application. IHSA Election Application Form. Applications must be received by the close of business on March 3rd, 2020.
3. IHSA will take all applications received and create a ballot with a short bio about each candidate.
4. During Component Meetings on March 11th, 2020, from 4:30 – 5:15 pm, the prepared ballot will be shared with members in their respective Components. Voting members will vote for their top candidate. There will not be any nominations taken from the floor. If interested, you must complete an application.
5. The elected members will be announced at the Annual IHSA Business Meeting on March 11, 2020.
6. Only the Region V Representatives will serve on the Board of Directors.
