President Obama’s Fatherhood Pledge

President Obama knows firsthand how important Fatherhood is. While he was lucky enough to be raised by a wonderful Mother and Grandparents, he knows what it means to grow up without a Father. It is also what has inspired him to want to be the best parent he could to his two young daughters, Malia and Sasha.

The President’s Fatherhood Pledge has been developed to encourage individuals, especially fathers, to be involved in the lives of their children, and to be positive role models and mentors for other children in their lives and communities. Sign the pledge to show that you will do your part to be a positive and supportive figure in the lives of children to help them reach their full potential. If you are interested in keeping up-to-date on this initiative and receiving tips on mentoring, please refer to this webpage on the President’s Fatherhood and Mentoring
